AVAILABILITY OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
(MARITIME INDUSTRY) ACTS
Copies of the Occupational Health and Safety (Maritime Industry) Act 1993, No 10 of 1994 (Catalogue number 94 4015 6) and the Occupational Health and Safety (Maritime Industry) Consequential Amendments Act 1993, No 11 of 1994 (Catalogue number 94 4016 8) are now available from the Australian Government Publishing Service Bookshops.
The Principal Act costs $5.10 and the Consequential Amendments Act 50 cents.
Division 4 of Part 1 of the Principal Act commenced on 21 February 1994. (This makes the Seafarers Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Authority responsible for the administration of the Act.)
The Consequential Amendments Act also commenced on 21 February.
The remaining provisions of the Principal Act are expected to commence in July 1994.
