Draft Guidelines for Accreditation of HSR training courses available for comment

The Seafarers Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Authority (the Seacare Authority) has undertaken a review of its Guidelines for the Accreditation of Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Training Courses (Accreditation Guidelines).

In developing the draft Accreditation Guidelines the Seacare Authority has been conscious of developments in model workplace health and safety laws and regulations and the recently approved HSR Training Guidelines for the Comcare Scheme.

As a result of this process, the Seacare Authority has developed the revised Accreditation Guidelines and seeks comments and feedback from the industry.
