
The Seacare Authority hosts an Awards & Conference program every two years. The Awards & Conference aim to engage employers, seafarers and other scheme stakeholders with the mission of the Seacare Authority. These events provide a unique opportunity for all parties involved in the Seacare scheme, and in the Australian maritime industry generally, to meet together and learn about best practice approaches and to celebrate the achievements of stakeholders.
Each year, the Seacare Authority holds forums on issues relevant to the Seacare jurisdiction and the maritime sector. The forums consist of presentations from key representatives from the maritime sector as well as workshops for participants to discuss challenges and improvements to Occupational Health and Safety in their industry.
