Tickets for the Seacare Awards Gala Dinner are now on sale! 

The 2014 Seacare Awards is a gala dinner event that will be held on the evening of Wednesday 10 September at Melbourne Town Hall. The evening will be hosted by Australian Olympian Kieren Perkins and brings together this year for the first time both the Seacare and Comcare Awards.

Online registration for the 2014 Seacare Conference is now open! 

The 2014 Seacare conference will be held on 11 September 2014 in Melbourne as part of the broader three day Comcare National Conference. The conference will bring together experts and professionals to explore both prevention and return to work, and touch on topical issues impacting the maritime scheme.

Major Reforms to Shipping Announced 

On Friday 9 September 2011 the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, the Hon Anthony Albanese MP, announced a package of reforms for the Australian shipping industry.

Guidance on confined spaces 

Provides best practice guidance on confined spaces training required under Regulation 4.28 of the Occupational Health and Safety (Maritime Industry) (National Standards) Regulations 2003.

Seacare 2015 Plan 

As part of the development of the plan the Authority is seeking the views of stakeholders on how to best deliver on the objectives of the scheme.

The Authority has released an issues paper on the current influences on the scheme and is seeking feedback from stakeholders on a number of questions.

Winners announced in 2010 Seacare Awards 

The Seacare Authority announced the winners of its 2010 Seacare Awards at a gala dinner event on Thursday 28 October 2010. Close to 150 guests attended this year's Awards night at MAIA at Central Pier in Melbourne's Dockland precinct.
